FRIENDS BY THE WATER

A friendly, outdoor social group just for you!
Drop in and see what we are up to

Our new, friendly, outdoor social group for all including people living with Dementia and their carers.

We offer a reason to get outdoors and enjoy time with others in the beautiful outdoor space at The Canal & Rivers Trust site, Canal Cottage, Rosegrove.

The session is extremely relaxed and allows natural flow of conversations, interests and time with no pressure to do anything they don’t want to do.

Activities vary each week and can include gentle mobility, conversation, reminiscence, crafts and snacks, all based outdoors.

Activities are user-led, based on the needs and interests of those attending.

What do you need to bring?
You don't actually need to bring anything, as we provide all equipment, refreshments etc but it is advisable to come dressed in clothing appropriate to the weather.

PLEASE NOTE: In extreme, adverse weather we will meet inside Canal Cottage, in the community room, Toilets are available.
